Kawasaki Ninja 250r questions.?

I was wondering how good the resale value would be on a 08 or 09 ninja 250? I don't want to lose a lot of money because if i decide to get this bike i will ride it and when i gain enough experience I want to use that money and put it toward a 600cc bike.
 
Pick your leg up when a car hits you, the leg between the car and the bike. Cross the tracks perpendicular. When you fall on the highway try to stay on top of the bike.

If still in good shape about half what you paid.
 
they hold their resale value better than most bikes... I wouldnt take 2800 for my 05 ninja 250.....
