My 2004 Kawasaki Ninja 250 is leaking fuel from the carb overflow tube while the bike is running. It leaks at a rate of about a drop every 2 seconds, and it stops occasionally, only to start again soon after. It doesn't leak once the bike is turned off. The carbs were cleaned the day I bought the bike, and I'm not sure if it was leaking before the cleaning (I don't think it was). I'm suspecting that its a seal in the float, or a float adjustment, but I don't know much about working on these things so I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks again,
Mike

Ether you have a hole in the float causing it not to float all the way up or the adjustment is off. All you have to do is take the bole off and pull the float pin out and shake the float by your ear. If you here gas inside replace your float. If not replace it and hold the float all the way up and make sure the float needle is able to seal the port completely...good luck

its either that they bumped the float bowl setting or the needle seat is worn out don't run the bike unless you want to look like a fireball down the street its an easy fix
