Kawasaki Ninja 250 CC 2006, Oil indicator is on When key inserted. Is it Normal ?

I recently purchased Kawasaki Ninja 250 CC 2006 and changed the oil but when I insert the key, oil change indicator is on but as soon as I start the bike, indicator goes away. Is it Normal behavior ?

This is a test of the oil pressure light warning system.

Don't start the bike if light doesn't work when you turn on the ignition switch. it is your only indicator if you have low oil pressure while you are riding.

If it doesn't light, fix it or get it fixed before you ride.
