kawasaki kz550 300$ sound good?

im looking at a 1981 kawasaki kz 550 for a cafe look project.
engine is good, and has good compression. new harness and lines.
the bike is pretty complete, but just needs to have some stuff installed(exhaust, pegs, etc..) as the owner has no time to finish the project. includes xtra parts and manual.
 
The bike is great for the price, but if I were going to spend money and time converting it into a cafe racer I would opt for at least a 750.

Try and find a Honda Sabre V45 or V65 One's a 750, the other is an 1100, both have shaft drive and balls of steel.
 
for $300 thats a great deal i payed 295 for my 71 yamaha enduro an only need to fix a few parts for like 50 at most so sounds like you may want to change the oil an then put in the oil that you need an add "marvels mystery oil" to both your gas an oil an it works to mend lil cracks in tubes an such. i used it before my bike stopped an working on it now LOL
