It is really hard to change into first to drive off it does not drive its self what could this be could it be the clutch is gone or the gearbox once i am going i can change gears no problem but it is not very nice to change gears and how do you know when the piston needs changing.
 
youll know when the pistons need released when it loses power very quicklyt,and id say its the clutch,go to a kawasaki dealer or a honda dealer and have them check it out.
 
Clutch almost certainly needs to be adjusted as it is not disengaging fully. Check the chain tension properly to and adjust if necessary. A loose drive chain can affect gear change quality.

You will need a new piston and rings when they become worn and you lose cylinder compression and consequently engine power. At the same time the bore may need work and an oversize piston and rings would have to be fitted - not something you can do at home.
A loose worn piston will "slap" the cylinder bore and thus be noisier than before.
