Hi, Ive sorted my other problem, it turned out that there was some junk blcking the main jet on No3. Anyway i have took those carbs off and put the ones that are supposed to go with the bike. The only problem i have is that No1 (far left cylinder) leaks when i put the bike on the sidestand. On the mainstand its fine.
Unfortuantly i cant live with that problem as its too awkward for me to put the bike on the mainstand everywhere.
So i dropped the bowl off, looked for crap, worn float needle, and all seems fine. I held the float closed and ble thro the fuel pipe, and it seems to make a good seal...
Could it be:
-worn needle valve- but not visible to the eye
- wrong float hieght ( not sure what the hieght should be for a kawasaki GT550 G7) ( same carbs as on a kawasaki ZR550 B1- B9- i think)
- faulty float
Im sooo close the bike runs good, just this one problem to sort out before i can wrestle the air ducts back on the airbox side!.
