To turn on kwak bike (probably same for all bikes, but I know er6 and z750 work this way.. ) you put the key in and turn it to the right until the dash lights up and the bike begins a diagnostic procedure, boot up etc.
BUT, you can turn the key further to the right which causes the bike to do nothing. Obviously this isn't the ON state, and it's not the steering lock. What is it for?
