I'd like to give a little story about how not to let dealers push u around and tell you you're not entitled to what is yours. I purchased my bike from a pretty big dealership here, and did my best (i know i coulda tried harder, but was really anxious to have a Duc to my name) to negotiate the best deal. Afterward, I remembered that the fast track promotion was going on, and brought it up to the dealer. They at first scoffed at me and told me that w/ the price I picking the bike up for, there is no way that they can include the fast track promotion (highly doubt it). Me being gullible, I believed them and continued to sign the papers. When I got home, I felt really uneasy. I pulled up the Fast Track website and read it line by line and the words stuck out as if it was highlighted:
"...when you purchase ANY new 2009 or 2010 Ducati Superbike..."
I was like.. no where does the promo detail mention about "if you got a great deal.. this promo does not apply to you" So I decided to shoot DNA an email and they got a hold of my dealer and made sure I received the package. To some, that may have been a douche move, but I'm a firm believer that if it is rightfully mine, nobody can keep it from me.
I hope this helped somebody out there who got fed the same bovine feces that was served to me to not buy into it, and if the dealer insists, just go ahead and go to the top and ask nicely. If you are afraid of ruining the dealer/customer relationship, just remember, there is other dealers that can change your oil, and u deserve what u deserve. I had a few beers, so I tend to blabber... good night and safe riding
