Installed a new amp into my truck (200w) and it's only required to power an 8" kenwood sub. (unsure of the ohms). It's a 2 channel, bridgeable, you can attach 2 - 2ohm speakers, or 1 4 ohm woofer.
The power protection light is red, and we're unsure of why. The power cable is at least 6g (can't imagine it would need a thicker wire!) and has a built in 20amp fuse. The groud wire is even thicker, and is attached to a metal piece.
Is the woofer too big for the amp? I can't imagine it would be. Or is the power wire too small? I can't imagine that either. Perhaps we need a better ground connection?? Help!
