John K's latest post...

They have two sorts of John K in Earth, the one who want to teach you how drawing and animated by his own experiences and that's i agree and he help me to understand what's wrong and the other one who make silly commentaries in the Looney Tunes cartoons. I don't like neither his obsession to the Bob Clampett cartoons.

I've been trying to ignore that sort of sentiment. Half the time the bloggers who are like this tear this stuff apart for their own amusement and are usually well aware how annoying it is to people who actually like this stuff.

John K on the other hand seems to really believe his own ramblings, because in his own mind it's all about Clampett.

foghorn smacks dog - big antics for big pain

One of his "decent" posts. Some good stuff in this one.

I wish he'd get on with his "style series" though. I'm really curious about his thoughts on Richard Williams and that Raggety Anne sheet and what kind of "style" that is according to him...

Anyone think he'll have anything good to say about Richard Williams or if he'll have any respect for him?

See, that IS a good post. It analyzes in clear visual and written terms what makes that particular scene work. Teach, don't preach.

I want to hear his thoughts on Williams too, given that he's also a hard perfectionist, but for different reasons.

My friends and I joked around a lot, but we never called each other names. Then again, I haven't had much real life friends in a while.
