Job listings say the unemployed need not apply

WHAT!? Of course you have the right to ask about the stability of company? That is a fair question and could play into why you might choose one company over another to work for.

I've been out of work for a few months

but I live in a working class black neigrabroadorhood, so it helps with how much everything costs and shit

its kind of scary driving through if you're not used to it, but who the fuck cares. Everyone is generally decent and the bills here are much cheaper than having to live in a rich neigrabroadorhood with a HOA and shit.

The employees are not being pick, the employers realize anything they post will get 500+ resumes and are picky as fuck.

10,000 people we're laid off from Cisco this past month because of bad MANAGEMENT decisions, not through any fault of their own, and thats just one example.

However you're a fucking idiot troll who knows jack shit about hiring and firing. In fact IIRC you're an unemployed college drop out.

Also, honestly don't see why a company would need to run a credit check. Don't see how that has any bearing on whether or not you're a good employee or working. Work history and experience is what should really matter

I really don't think you understand what I am saying, or perhaps you are trying not to.

Your favorite color has nothing to do with job performance? Right? Does you employer have the "right" to ask you about it? I would argue yes.

I never said they were making a bad decision if they don't check credit, I actually (if you look back) said if checking credit causes them to hire bad workers (meaning, if the credit check is not indicative of good workers then hiring someone with good credit would mean you are hiring bad workers) my point is still the same.

You are fundamentally arguing that an employer cannot ask you things that don't directly correlate to job performance, and my question is, i.) why not? and) ii.) how can you make that distinction as employers ask about lots of intangibles?

What if the owner of a store had a brother with shitty credit who was a jackass and he swore never to hire anyone with bad credit, you are saying he doesn't have a right to do that?

It is his fucking store, he can hire whoever he wants on whatever basis he wants (with the exception of certain stipulations of protected classes under civil rights law). How are people with bad credit a protected class?

You are right, I care about "workers" and I don't really care if they are Americans or if they are Chinese. That is just racist/nationalist nonsense.

I just don't understand taking a shit job if you know the job is shit.

You can't polish a turd. No matter how hard you work. The problem is not the unemployed. It's congress and the wealthy elites.

It's so stupid that your guys anger is focused to one person on unemployment. (Which I paid into BTW.)

People just can't admit that sometimes there are higher powers and other things that fuck people like me. And yes I am playing the victim here.

My attitude isn't the problem. I had a very excellent job in the past. It's not like I was a derelict from the start.

I gotta give it up to Satellite, he understanRAB very well what the unemployed have to go through.

I'm at wits end with this bullshit, I spent the last 3 days calling and applying all that other durab shit. I took today off to relax and shit and about to hit the grind again.

I'm about to just suck it up and take one of these terrible sales jobs, so they can tell me to go to places and get doors slammed in my face. Either that or make me make 100 calls per day, when I could just make 50 and get a better result that way.
