Companies are not even hiring interns. Because I would have to be IN college.

How do I get experience in an industry if you won't let me intern. Won't hire me. And I don't have start up money to start my own job.
 
I never said that credit score is correlated to job performance, our whole argument is about whether they should be able to ask you questions about things that are not job related.

Why would I provide scientific evidence to back a statement I never made genius?
 
Remeraber this: the parasite dies with the host. You'll find that your union merabership means shit when the company you work for goes under because business is unable to function in a country that doesn't respect the rights of businessmen.
 
What makes the function of unions qualify as extortion rather than negotiation is that unions introduce FORCE into the relationship. Interactions between businesses and consumers is 100% voluntary; the law FORCES business to tolerate unions.
 
i've told the story of the guy i worked for that did exactly that, because he didn't trust black people, and once got "tricked" because he called back a lady that was qualified, didn't live in a "black neigrabroadorhood," and didn't have a "black name."

I'm all for reasonable expectations.....I'm not challenging that at all.

However, there is simply no correlation between credit rating and job performance for non-finance related jobs. NONE.

So corporations asking is simply an invasion of my privacy.

Think about it.....we've just been through the worst economic down turn since the great depression. Something 14.2 million American citizens are currently unemployed!! read that again....14.2....that's insanely high

many of them have been unemployed so long that they've run out of unemployment checks and are doing anything they can to survive. how long is this? well current unemployment runs for something like 99 months and they've been unemployed for longer than that and they still can't find fucking jobs.

The situation is getting desperate for many, many people.

Our fellow citizens are suffering and all their credit ratings are suffering also.

They want to work.....let them fucking work and end this ridiculous practice of credit checks. It's not based on science, there's no correlation and it's an invasion of my privacy.....all at a time when I'm my most vulnerable....when I'm looking for a job.

Yeah, freedom should be selectively rationed out when it is opportune to myself and not to others...sounRAB like a great society to live in.

I don't like discrimination, but I like the logically inconsistent idea of allowing one group of citizens to discriminate and forbidding another group less.
