Jeff Buckley

I thought I'd ask you lot of Music HeaRAB. I figure if anyone could help you can.

I was givin this copy cd, with the following details written on it........
"Jeff Buckley" - "mystery white boy"

I guess this is an official album. It features most if not all live recordings.

My main query is:-
What is the name of track 7?

This when I listened was so flaming brilliant I couldn't help dancing like a lunatic
and playing fake guitar with my sons baseball bat. I was brilliant.
Ahem, the song, singer, band were are brilliant.

Mariah Carey has 5. The average singer has 1- 2.5 octaves.

EDIT: His father Tim had 7. Googled it and opinions vary.

Still... an incredible singer. Marijan didn't I send you some of his stuff once? :)

Jesuss Grace is one of my favorite albums ever, I can't decide which is my favorite song between Hallelujah and Last Goodbye. But Hallelujah is still like, holy shitt to listen to. He has the most beautiful voice ever, other then Elliott.

Jeff Buckley is cool! Though some people do go on about him.(you get that when you're dead) Grace was amazing. half of sketches was great too.
He just doesn't have enough albums to be a "music legend" and I don't suppose he ever will.

As I was born a good few years after Jeff Buckley was i'd rather not consider myself as being a part of his dad's generation. Besides I don't think somethings age should count against it. I prefer his fathers music because he seemed more aware of music in general & experimented more often ,plus I think he was a better songwriter.
Is it fair to compare his body of work with his sons one and only finished album? Probably not ,but that's all there is to go by. He may have ended up a better songwriter , his music may have got more experimental , he could have done plenty of things , but he didn't. And that is my biggest problem with people who love this album. People want to heighten up all the positives of it & think what could have been and it's treated as a 'what could have been' rather than what it is. And what it is to me is an album that shows some promise but relies far too much on other peoples songs.

I've heard quite a bit about this guy as a songwriter and how good he is an all that, so I'll definitely have to check him out. Didn't know he died, that sucks, alot of the would've-been greats passed away. R.I.P. and all that
