Jack ♥ Angela (Bones)#1:Because He's The King Of the Lab and She's His Geek Princess

I watch Bones and I don't give a flying fig about BB. I really don't. I think the fact that there are completely the focus of the show makes me despise them, usually I'm just indifferent to them.
I love the Squints, if they just centered the show on them all working in the lab...I'd be happy.
Mostly, I love J/A, they draw me in. If the writers screw them up because they aren't "leaRAB" then I'm done with the show.

Angela can be very geeky sometimes so geek princess fits her

And I agree with that tendency the writers have; it's like they imagine a shocking ending; and just go from there. This is not how you write a story

Mel thanks so much hon!

Ok so:

[sp]When she breaks up with him and breaks his heart again, I want him to deal with it asap, move on and don't give a crap. And I want *her* to realize she did the biggest mistake for breaking up with him and I want *her* to do the crawling to get him back. And I want him to not take her back right away. Make her wonder if he'll ever take her back. If he still has feelings for her. Make her feel bad for her decision. It's petty and revenge might be stupid but I'm sick of always seeing him dealing with mess she creates. I don't think I can take seeing him crushed and hurt because she's acting like an idiot. He doesn't deserve this.

Also how cruel is to that to him when he's at his lowest? Apparently there's a scene where he confides to one of the new team meraber how difficult it is for him with his best friend in prison and Angela breaking up with him. I already feel heartbroken for him and I haven't even seen it on screen... TJ's amazing with emotional stuff so I can bet I'm gonna end up bawling my eyes out with this scene

And you know what I hate the most about it? It's that they'll focus on a cheap drama with some cheap story of a long lost husband while they have a perfect opportunity to flesh out some real conflict and characters' development with what happened to Zack. Now, I didn't like what happened just as much as anybody else in this fandom, because once again , there was absolutely no build up for such drastic story, but the least they can do now is actually use what that mess created. It is the most interesting material we'd get to see for Jack in a very long time, but instead they still play that lousy Birirabaum card? I can't believe people are paid fortune to write such crap. And I bet you the fandom would be more grateful if they focused more on the psychological aftermath of the finale than some cheap drama. I can also bet they won't explore the aftermath at all.

That being said, I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS BREAK UP STORYLINE![/sp]

Here's a little banner.

[sp]I'm not giving up completely... I mean it'll all depend on how it's all played out on screen, but I'll stick around at least till 406 or 405 whichever is the episode of Jack visiting Zack. Then if it goes really really bad and they keep on ruining both Jack and Angela... yeah, I'll be done with the show, Grave Digger or not. I just don't understand why a TV couple must have its obligatory break up. It pisses me off because apparently, writers don't understand they can create drama without such plot. It's idiotic. As for J/A storyline it's extra idiotic because of how they seem to set this break up in motion. OK, break them up, but do it in a decent way, without twisting the characters *is still irked*[/sp]

Unfortunately, I think we're a serious minority with such opinion :(

S1 was so-so, IMO. I always thought that it took them a lot of time to find a proper dynamic, but since it was the very first season, it might be understandable. S2 was very nicely developed, even though some things still don't make sense to me. (e.g. some of Brennan's reactions, her break up with Sully and don't get me started on J/A wedding. I'm telling you, they set it up only to have B/B at the altar for the final scene ).

[sp]If they really feel like they need to break them up, the least they can do is to write it decently. But soemthing tells me ther's gonna be no build up and the break up's gonna be a 2 minutes long scene. I already read spoilers on how apparently it's emotionless and in the "oops, we're just not working out" kind of a way. WTF. Over 2 years together and almost married and it takes away the beauty of everything that was J/A in S2 and this pisses me off so much. Plus the writers don't give a crap about these 2 and now I'm not even sure Michaela cares, either... She was so freaking blasé about that thing at the Comic Con... And TJ skipped it altogether... I'm really worried we're gonna get majorly screwed.[/sp]

[sp]It's writing drama for the sake of drama. Who cares if it makes any sense, right? Pffft. I'm so disappointed with this fandom, right now. Like I mentioned on my LJ, I can't believe people want them broken up because it's gonna give B/B more screentime and because this way Angela can play a matchmaker between these 2. I actually find this idea insulting to every other character on the show and partially to the viewers like me. Why people are so greedy? B/B's already a freaking major focus on this show and they want even more? At this point, we can just as well not have any background characters at all! What a joke.[/sp]

[sp]This definitely isn't on my must watch list anymore either. I'm so frutrated with these writers. I'm tired of writers tearing down things they've built with no regard for what they've written/built. :sigh: [/sp]

[sp]You should know not to ask that because sadly it could probably get even lamer. But, man, I really hope the breakup is not because of that. Not that any reason is going to be good or satisfy me. [/sp]

[sp]I'd stick to B/B clips if it wasn't for the fandom ruining them for me... It's ridiculous and I know it, but I can't help blaming them for everything stupid that is gonna happen in S4. It's like, if the fans weren't that batcrap crazy, the writers wouldn't have the opportunity to laze off with filling the episodes with an insane amount of random B/B-ness and they wouldn't start writing the show so soapy. Ergo they wouldn't freaking kill off the only canon pairing this show has. Me pissed? naaaah...
So I'll probably stick around for the first few episodes, out of morbid curiosity and then will just watch Jack's clips, because he's probably my fave on the show... Especially now that they ruined my love for Angela :/[/sp]

love them to pieces! add me to the list :D

Hmm, maybe Because buying really expensive perfume says I Love You or Because third time is the charm

It's sad how the fandom completely ignores these 2 together...
No comment on spoilers thread. There's no way I could've posted there...

[sp]I'm gonna say the only positive thing right now that is keeping me from abandoning the show is the spoiler on more than one episode about Grave Digger. I just hope they won't massacre Jack and Angela together and separately too bad...[/sp]

[sp]I'm actually dreading the premiere. How sad is that? *sigh*
I never cared enough about Sweets to like him or dislike him, but I really hope his pseudo professional advice isn't gonna be the reason for their break up. How much lamer can it become? :irked:[/sp]

Do - Thanks for reminding me about J/A and Bones. I guess I've been so frustrated/upset I haven't wanted to be around it much.

Will do.

Shannon  Welcome to the thread. You can call me Mel. :) I've added you.

That's why I love this thread and you guys. Because it seems like most people feel the opposite. But, I totally feel the same as you guys on this and everything else you're saying.

I avoid the Bones spoilers thread at all costs. Pisses me off too much. The FNL spoiler thread does that too, but I kind of have to go in there. But, I don't even try to post in there anymore. It's pointless.

Thanks for the link Do. [sp]Team Jack all the way for me too. Jack, Angela, and J/A are my favorite things about the show so if they're destroying all 3 this season, I'm going to be so sad and mad. I'm trying to hope for the best, but I don't have much hope with everything we've seen/heard. [/sp]

That's definitely one of my favorite scenes.

And I'm in complete agreement about Season 2. We really can't be the only viewers who prefer a balanced show, can we?

ETA:
Jess [sp] Yes, that just kills me. They are backtracking on all her character development the past season and a half. Lieing and blowing landry off so isn't cool either. I definitely don't see how they can even be frienRAB now. [/sp]

I haven't read the sides but I'm pretty much spoiled about it  [sp] I hate that they're taking back all the character's developpement they did with Tyra [/sp]

Back to Bones; I agree with you Mel; both pairing are very different, it's ridiculous to compare them
