A couple days ago I was told by my boss that I would have to write, memorize, and present a 10 minute speech which goes a long with a powerpoint (thankfully this was done for me) on the losses the restaurant has encountered (moneywise) and how they should be improved. So, I finished writing my speech, memorized it, and went to my dad's to mellow down. He saw that my hair was a lot on the long side and suggested that I go get a haircut. Now, I normally don't get haircuts but seeing as my dad holds a very promising career as an mechanical maintenance guy (don't remember the exact name) I took his advice and went to a hairdresser.
I wear glasses and I have to take them off while I'm getting a haircut so I can't really tell what's going on with my hair. So I get to the hairdresser with thick and ruly hair and take off my glasses. Getting the haircut, and I see that she may be cutting my hair a lil' short. But I thought to myself, must be a new style. It wasn't. She let me see my hair after she had "finished" and to my shock, it was thin, scattered, clumpy, and the top layer was completely removed. Horrified at what she might attempt to fix it, I payed and left. Now I'm dumbfounded as to what I'm going to do. Presentation is tomorrow and I don't have a wig.
