It is important to understand other cultures because..?

Well I think that it is important cause all of us need to globalise! In this age of urbanisation and globalisation, we often tend to forget our own roots n cultures. So to understand the world better, to create a niche 4 urself, and to globalise urself, it is very important to learn bout different cultures. Moreover I think it's really fascinating!. I'll give u an example..I'm from India, during my visit to US, I had an encounter with the American culture. This encounter helped me learn the secret of their prosperity and development. In fact, it made me happy too. And I hope that I'll be able to adapt the good points soon. I've travelled to places like Germany n Dubai. Each place has something to teach. Each has their own flaws, cons n pros. So this helps me know the world better! Thanks 4 the question....,

The definition of culture is polyhedral. By culture we mean folklore, history, etiquette and many other things. The truth is that a culture is simply composed of these things and is a complicated unit that can be divided into several categories. There is nothing more pleasant than to dive into the world of wonders and artifacts and start a long journey for cognition. Unfortunately, our society seems to ignore that priceless inheritance we received from ancestors to contribute and give to our posterities.

because the world isn't ran by one country, its important to understand the way other countries and their cultures work. if you ever go to another country you don't wanna be the ignorant guy who looks like a fool for not knowing whats going on. You can live in a box your whole life i suppose, but consider in the U.S. for example there are many cultures. your going to cross them some time or another.

because thisworld is becoming more and more global every day. the saying "what you don't know won't hurt you" no longer applies. so the more you know about other cultures, the better you will be able to interact with diverse people and you will be noted for your skills in the workplace.
