i bought a new headunit (pioneer p3000ib) and have it installed, although not the way i want.
it has 2 RCA outs on the back and a wiring harness to run to 4 spkrs.
my amp (cbf goin to get model# but its a us audio) has speaker inputs for 4 speakers and also 2 RCA inputs.
Now...
My mate says that i cant have all 4 spkrs and the subwoofer (us audio 12inch) all hooked up and working at the same time. he says i need to either choose between the front spkrs and sub or the rear spkrs n sub.
Is that true? coz that sux.
although he did day that i could have it all if i ran a pair of spkrs directly from the headunit.
is this all true?
i really dont wanna call the guy out and give him 80 bux to fix sumthing i know i can fix easy if i just knew how. i wired it all up no worries. pls help
thanks
What do i do at this stage? do i HAVE TO buy a new amp to run everything or can i do it without?

you can do without it just won;t sound as good but i mean if your just going for bass liek most people are you don;t really care about the highs so they can run of the deck and hook the subs to the amp and it will still sound good and have the bass you want you just won't get the clearity and purity but most people don;t care about that. but yes you got the pioneer deck so that should be able to handle at least the 2 front speakers if not the back ones too minus the subs. yea i just looked at the deck its got 50w each channel 200w total so thats plenty to run ur component speakers and u can just run the subs threw the amp and it will sound just perfect. hope that helps
