I have a 4 kenwood 3-way speakers with my kenwood in dash deck connected to those 3-way speakers. Now I'm going to put my amp and sub with a totel of 1000 watts. I got the Rockford Fosgate 15 inch, 500, rms at 4 ohms to 1000 peak power at 2 ohms. Then my 1000.1 kicker amp with also 500rms at 4 ohms, to 1000 peak at 2 ohms. Do you think this sub and amp will work just fine together. This is all in my 2000 mustang by the way.

well first off subwoofers are only rated at one rms wattage, not two like you listed. they are built to a specific ohm and cant be changed. so your sub is either a 2 ohm sub or a 4 ohm sub. but as far as the amp goes....as long as your sub is the 4ohm dual voice coil the amp will be great with it. if your sub is 500 rms then the amp is a lil big and just make sure not to turn the amp up as much. but the kicker amps are amazing. good choice
