Is this relationship going to last? Or can it??? I need educated answers

please--Islamic too!.? My sister who is a convert and divorced (no kids) started talking to this man online from Yemen (we are from the USA). They have had this online thing going on for a few months now and almost convinced her to come to Yemen to marry him.

If she is not online due to work or family things, for 2 days in a row, he starts accusing her of cheating and all kinds of things.... So she broke it off.

Islamically, is this a bad thing, since she already promised to marry him? She was going to move to Yemen and be his wife there. She is feeling guilty right now....

You already see his character and she plans to marry him ? I think she should not because Islamically he did not show good character when she did not talk to him for 2 days. So it is likely that there will be issues after the marriage. It is better to leave off all contact with that man and perform salatul istikhara for asking Allah to guide her in life.

If I were her brother, I would advise her to not move there. Trust me, many have ruined their lives by marrying non religious spouses. If the character of someone matches with the Sunnah and Quran, then he is good otherwise its better to wait for a better husband who follows Sunnah and his character follows the footsteps of the Sahabah (ra) and Rasulullah (saws).

she deff did the right thing! got out of that mess before it was too late, u shud be glad those types of relationships never works the guy is always acting nice until after marriage where his true face shows.

inshallah,allah(S.W.T) will give ur sister better husband then him

but say her to find his spouse through right mean not internet or something unreliable
we cannot trust anyone

u or the elder of ur family should help her in finding her spouse
 
She only said a promise and promises can be broken especially when good reasons are present.
She is doing the right thing.
The man is showing his true colours and if she married him she would most likely be very unhappy.
