Is this enough RMS to power my sub (Kicker L7) ?

I'm planning to buy an amp to power one 12-inch Kicker L7. It can take up to 750 RMS. I found tons of amps I can afford but they are around 500-600 RMS. Is that okay? Or do I need more RMS? If so, please recommend some amps! (See I'm kinda on a budget. Like AT MOST, I'll spend $180, maybe more.)

P.S. - Do the brands of amps really matter? If so, which ones? THANK YOU.
