Is this a ok setup for my car? is there something better for me?

So, after some ran into the back of my old car (he totaled it), i was given a newer better Subaru outback legacy (1999). except my new car's audio is just awful. I need some way to listen to my music and i figured that i might as well get a cool setup. so I'm going to buy new front speakers and a sub and an amp. I'm going to buy speakers separately but for my subwoofer setup i was thinking about going with a Kicker Comp 07C124 and for the amp a Profile AP700M. i know that it will make a huge difference but is there some better deal i can get for 250$. the subwoofer is a buy one get one free deal.
