I know this may be a weird qustion but......
I have curly hair from my dad's side. He has a fuzzy sort of afro if he grows it long enough. His dad had very very very curly hair. And I know he is not African American so I was just wondering if there was any other cultures known for having super curly hair?
My dad is pretty tan.
Tans even more easily.
Has Steele/Blue eyes.
And very black hair.
Just to let ya know what he might be...??

Well curly hair originated from Africans and other hot regions of the Earth. Over thousands of years their hair adjusted to the hot climate to protect their heads from burning up, making their hair dark and creating thick curls. Notice most Northern Europeans have straight hair because there was no need for curls as the weather was so cold.

I don't believe there is any other race that has a predominant population with curly hair.

Hispanic people sometimes have very curly hair and very few Europeans have naturally curly hair. I think more Celtic descendants have curly hair. I'm not completely sure on this though.

I'm completely jealous of people who have natural curls. Especially girls with perfect bouncy little ringlets!
