is there any big difference between kicker comps and cvrs?

kicker comp are the cheapest sub you can get from kicker.. the CVR are a stage higher than the comp so yes the CVR will be better, and if you put the CVR in a correct box they can hit pretty hard.. i have had a pair of comps and my friend blew me aways with his CVR.. go with the CVR wont be dissapointed
 
Improved power handling with the CVR's - the difference is noticable if the subs have ideal power & enclosure built. Keep this in mind when swapping out those subs. A pair of comps need about 300W RMS at their final impedance, a pair of CVR's need about 800W RMS at their final impedance. The ideal enclosure specs are different as well.
