I'm about to start driving soon, and my boyfriend thinks that I shouldn't listen to music while driving for the first three months of driving.
And he said he knows several ways of knowing if I've listened to my radio while driving.. And none of them have anything to do with bugging my car.. So is that even possible?
Is there a way of knowing if someone was listening to the radio while driving?

And please, no speeches on how I need to take every precaution I can while learning to drive.. I already know HOW to drive, I just don't have my license yet.
Or someone who has been in this situation before would be good too.
I'm looking for educated answers.. So far everything's good.
But maybe someone who specializes in radios and such?

Only way they can really know is if they are driving next to you and can hear it really. Unless he has a camera in the car

Well the first thing I did was put in a custom stereo and rocked out to Disturbed when I got my permit. Your bf is being a bit too cautious. But anyway. Just make sure that, like other answerers have stated, that you leave it on the same station and volume. If it's off when you first start the car, leave it off or turn it off when you're done driving.

First off, your boyfriend is way too protective haha that's ridiculous. There's no way to tell if you've been listening to the radio, just make sure when you get out of the car, you make sure the volume is at what it was when you got in there and that it's on the same station, there's no way to tell if you've been doin that.

try and make sure ur radio is on the same station with the same volume when u get out of ur car...try and do it every time..try and make it a routine...so this way...every time he gets in..it will be the same station, and volume ...
