Hello. I am a young composer with little money an I need a cheap or free program that I can use to import notes and rhythms through my midi keyboard. I currently use Finale Notepad, which I love, but I can only use my keyboard to tell the program which note to play so I have to change the note value in the program to create different rhythms. Please help because I am tired of spending more time imputing notes and rhythms than writing music.
Is there a free notation program that has real-time midi imput?
