Is the sony XM-GTX6040 an acceptable amplifier to power two Kicker 10" comp10 subs?

I just bought a new vehicle and Im looking to move my old sound equipment into the new ride, Im just looking to see if my current set up is the most effective way i could be running my stuff.
The amp:
XM-GTX6040
4 channel 600W amp
Currently bridged twice into two channels.
The subs:
2 Kicker c10
Maximum recommended amp power (watts PEAK) 300
Maximum recommended amp power (watts RMS) 150

The has had the tendency to overheat in the past, so tell me what should i be doing differently?

Yeah, it's a decent set up.
The amp bridges to 140x2 which is just about right for the comp 10's.
A lot of people would probably suggest using a mono/sub amp for the subs, but that's not at all necessary and would offer little, if any benefit over your bridged 4 ch.

Its a good set up, and fro the overheating problem I would get a cooling fan from http://www.sonicelectronix.com/search_new.php?action=search&keyword=Cooling+Fans
