is the kicker cvx 12" any good? itis rated 750 rms and 1500 max..wiill it blow out...

...if i have more than that? i have a pa amp its the bamf 5500 one but its only rated 1700 watts at 4ohms which is how many ohms the sub is so i was wondering if my amp would blow the speaker out? and also if one speaker or 2 would be better?
 
I recomend using kicker L7s instead. Same price but better sound. Alot of people say that 1 is sometimes better than 2 but in my opinion, two is better. I guess you could use that amp just dont set the gain all the way so you wont mess up the speakers
