So I'm getting a 05' ZZR600 for my first bike, but I'm not buying it. The bike is being given to me as my first bike and an opportunity to learn to ride a motorcycle. I've never rode a motorcycle before but I'm going to take the basic training course to learn. I'm asking a question thats probably been asked a million times but is the bike a good bike if im just using it to get to school and back? note I don't plan showing off mainly because I know I don't have any skills and I know how powerful how the throttle is. I've driven powerful cars in the past so I'm almost fully aware of what could go wrong but I just want to know to know. Either way I'm probably going to end up riding the bike since i got all my gear for free by the same guy. also should I practice in empty parking lots with gears, turning, and everything else?
