Purchase? Hi Im going to be purchasing a Midi Keyboard controller to start producing my own tracks. I listen to EDM (Trance) and the keyboard I am eyeing is the Akai MPK49. I have read a few reviews about it and the one main complaint that I keep finding is in regards to the pads that are on the controller. Ive read that even w/ the sensitivity turned up the user still has to hit the pads really hard to get them to sense the touch and this makes production hard. Another problem that Ive read is that its a nightmare to upgrade to the latest firmware. It seems to be a great deal with all of the features that it has along w the easeof use for those producers that know what theyre doing. Im planning to use Reason, Cubase, and Ableton Live. Is this unit compatible w/ all of these programs and if not is there another keyboard that is equivalent to the MPK49 but has less issues? I am just entering the production scene and I am really excited but I dont want my lack of "knowledge" to ruin this new experience for me.
