Is perception universal? And if not dose that make time not universal as well?

I view time as a quantitative measurement that is determined based on the sum of our availably senses. If perception is used to gauge our measurement of time, would other species do the same according to their perception of time?

Other species would view time in your sense. They know the seasons, they know night and day, yet time is completely contingent. The idea of time is good for measurement, since without it all species would be completely lost of reason. Time also passes varying on your location in the universe. The closer you are to a larger mass, the faster time passes as compared to the further. I may be in the center of the universe and measure 50 years of time, you could be trillions of miles away and we'll meet up somewhere and you'll find I'm much older than you. Another fun concept: we can see the past everyday. Every star you see is a photograph of what it looked like years and years ago. SO when you think about, by moving deeper into space and closer to these celestial objects, not only are we closing distance, but we are rapidly speeding up time. You'd see that star rapidly change and morph before your very eyes.
What does this have to do with anything? MY perception of time is something completely different from someone who doesn't study physics, so perception is contingent. If we were all able to fully utilize our senses to perceive the invention of time, we might be able to measure time in relation to our sensing of others, so it VERY likely other intelligent being somewhere are measuring us in terms of their time. It makes you think, we only have five senses to observe the universe, but would other species be able to perceive it more accurately with their stronger or more abundant senses?
