O Republican Noise Machine: We no longer fall for your Karl Rovian attempts to create an "issue" for a media whore who routinely pimps out her daughters in order to grab the limelight---especially after the Republican party refused to let her speak at the fundraiser, choosing Newt (the give his hospitalized cancer-stricken wife divorce papers) Gingrich to represent THEIR version of family values. One of the right-wing strategies is to harp on a word or phrase ad nauseum until it "resonates" with segments of the voting populace---in this case, Palin's allegation of an "endorsement" by Dave of "statutory rape"---thrusting her young daughter about whom she "professes" to care into the spotlight. The Palin daughter to whom Dave was referring in his slightly bawdy joke (and he did admit the joke was perhaps "in bad taste"...followng by a line which made his audience (and me) laugh..."but that is what I DO...I've been doing this for ....years" (and he gave his Letterman grin). Her feigned "outrage" is as phony as a $3 bill. It is indicative of the repressed anger issues Palin has with the rebellious unwed pregnant teen who announced last year to a national TV audience that she thought "abstinence only [as taught in high schools] is unrealistic", thereby acknowledging/endorsing consentual promiscuity among teens. Instead of pimping her daughters as she is doing to try to create an "issue" for upcoming runs for office (which she is in no way qualified to hold), maybe she should focus on learning that there are three partners to NAFTA, not two, or that living in a state that "neigbors" Russia and Canada does not, as she claimed, give someone foreign policy experience.
