I added so called conservatives because the insurance industry is not a free market capitalist system and conservatives are desperate to stop it from being changed into a free market system so obviously they are either ignorant of the facts or not conservatives at all.

I agree that free market capitalist system has been co-opted but I think this is a bi-partisan issue. Corruption runs rampant through Washington and these ACORN videos just illustrate that the corruption runs from Wall St. to Main St.
 
I have heard it said that Liberals are brain washed College Graduates and Professors AND that they are lazy welfare recipients who want the Government to provide for their needs for their entire lives. It depends on which biased perception the person wants to present and convince others of as being factual. There really is no way to prove it either way.

And the reason it isn't currently acting like a free market system is due to the stifling govt regulations already on the medical industry.

Your thoughts are a bit backwards. Who is standing behind a President that is trying to take over yet another private industry? Are liberals behind a man that said that we should judge him by those he surrounds himself with, those people being admitted Communists, racists, radicals, home grown terrorists, criminal organizations etc etc etc.? So please reassess.....Which people are easily led?
 
No, it is definitely not true.

There are no conservatives which are against health care reform, but they do not agree with the Obama plan and definitely against public option and a single payer system which is Obama's stated goal.
 
What exactly is a "so called" Conservative? Are you supposed to be an intelligent liberal? As for intelligence, look at the grades of offspring of Obama's worshipers. In Atlanta they are outright illiterate in huge numbers. You need to pay more attention to what you are supporting. You are begging to give up freedom to be the President's slaves. .If you're making so much money, pay for your own healthcare and get the hell off of welfare.

Yes to both of your questions. Liberals are better educated because the northeast of the US is mostly Democrats not liberals, Also Virgina and North Carolina are moving more Democratic because of the high tech industry in Charleston and the DC crowd in Virginia. Most Democrats, however, are not liberals. Liberals like conservatives only make up about 8% of their respective parties. As far as insurance, laws are being drafted to allow more competition into the insurance market since some states actually only have one insurance opiton. Insurance corporations should be allowed to compete across state lines to lower the prices.
 
Your question is largely rhetorical and without a shred of empirical evidence.

You seem to believe that Conservatives are against health care reform. They are not. They are, however, against a government take over of the health care system. Because one is against presented plans does not make them against needed reform. It isn't an all or nothing scenario, regardless of how you and the rest of the left presents it.
