Not at all. I used to play cops and robbers as a kid, inspired by American gangster films, but I didn't became a robber. If kids in the UK (where I live) had a proper moral grounding (like I had) they wouldn't do these things. This generation of teenagers has been failed badly by their parents, the government and society in general. Why is everyone so afraid of them? I'm not and often have cause to tell them off in the street for littering, swearing, fighting, and letting their dogs run wild. They listen to people who actively challenge them. They want boundaries, but get nothing from their parents, the government or a society that is afraid of them. If the were nagged 24/7 for the smallest thing then they'd respect their elders. But they're not. They get away with far too much through fear.
