Is it really kindness to make failing easy on people? to give them free...

...stuff? really? Consider this ... two roads were presented for the black family, personal responsibility & independence vs free stuff & dependence.

Right road, black family doing pretty well, no prison record, jobs, like their life

Left road, black family, father isn't with kids or mom, mom doesn't work, kid gets hardened by a hard ugly life, gets into a gang, sells drugs and fights with other gangsters, kid in jail, gets out, gets killed in gang war or rots in an ugly repressive jail situation

But HEY, the upside is democrats got a voting block of addicts of free stuff! Or we could call it sweet tasting candy with a poison core.

There is nothing wrong with black people, this was done to them and it's human nature that most take the easy way if offered. Black people were targeted by the left after the Republicans destroyed their methods of supressing the black vote to keep the repubican vote down, the KKK and discrimination Republicans destroyed so they moved to another stratagy. Not as direct, but just as if not more destructive and evil.

Why didn't this happen to other groups? Because it wasn't really tried, except now it is being tried.

There is nothing wrong with black people, nothing except being trapped into a lifestyle that degrades their power to thrive in the world, and anyone else could be in the same position.

This big government control, free stuff, no incentive to work thing is now being pushed to be spread all over the country. Do you really think blacks are so inferior that this won't affect everyone the same way it affected the black populaitons that fell into this trap? REALLY?

See giving people an easy life, an easy escape from the hard realities of the world may seem like kindness, but in the long run it's the most ugly oppressive thing you can do to them.

Teach a man to fish and you feed him for life.

Give a man free fish for life, and you UTTERLY DESTROY HIM

Take a fish from a man and give it to another and give him the option of a free fish if he doesn't fish? you destroy anyone's incentive to fish, you destroy the whole country.

Compassion although meant well is sometimes misplaced and make some people lazy but it should not be withheld in all cases sometimes people need help for a little while and we should help them but those that linger to long should be taken off the list and be made to work for their kept there is a fine line to be held and not to be withheld for some kind of political reason which it seems you support find yourself needing help and you will be first in line

Exactly ... things are not always as they appear with a simplistic view.

For instance, is it really helpful to make Marijuana illegal? It would seem so, but the cause and effect of the results are similar to your scenario in that they go much deeper than the surface.

We have empowered governments to violate people to stop pot? We've created organized crime and an income stream for criminals and subversives, as well as government oppressors.

In the end the value of the drug trade is what made it so popular because those who can make money from it entice others to use it, which wouldn't have happened otherwise. It's a whole bad result from simplistic thinking in action, just like Social programs are.

AND to tie the two, people who know they have to look out for themselves and being incapacitated could really destroy them, are much less likely to do drugs to the point of harming themselves and society.
