Is it ok to leave my Magellan GPS in my car all the time?

even at extreme temperatures like when it's 4 below out, and up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit in the car? because i've heard that rechargeable batteries aren't supposed to be in extreme temperatures. it doesn't say anything about it in the owners manual. thanks for any help.
 
It's ok to leave it in your car. I just did a little research and when your battery is on the charger it's getting all the way up to 50 deg C, which is 122 deg F. Usually when they have heat warnings about extreme temperature. It's talking about staying away from fire because they can certainly blow up. I wouldn't worry right now because the winter.
