chance against the custom/culture? I will be going to Singapore to live & work alongwith my wife. Being an INDIAN she only wears a saree, is it ok if she steps outside home in a saree? Does it in any way hurt local sentiments/cultures/customs?
 
No, Its safe to wear saree as an Indian in Singapore and your wife will be safe with that. It will not hurt local sentiments, neither it will hurt it cultures and customs as Singapore has ethnic Indians too.
