Is it Kawasaki Disease, or is it nothing to worry about?

Ok so my 6 year old brother has gotten sick lately. Apparently it was a viral infection, first starting from the ear. After a while, it apparently spread to the throat as well.

So we went to the doctor, who prescribed the antibiotics. My brother started taking the antibiotics, and all of a sudden we see that he begins to get a fever, along with red eyes and red cheeks. We immediately contact the Pharmacy to see what was going on. Apparently it was just a mild allergic reaction.

After that, we continuously gave him the antibiotics, and it seemed as if he was feeling better. Then all of a sudden, his fever returned with a vengence, and he was burning up. Also, he began to get itchy legs, red cheeks.

Also, just 2 nights ago, me and my mom noticed that he had a swollen lymph node on his neck, anterior to the trapezius (above the clavicle). And then we also began to notice that the skin on his fingers was peeling off at a considerable rate.

Yesterday, they were supposed to leave the country to go vacationing, so just to be safe my mom takes him to the ER after doing some research online and coming to the conclusion that it may be Kawasaki Disease. They took him to the doctors, and they told me that they did the tests on him (x-ray, ECG etc.), and that everything was fine.

But I refuse to be convinced by what the doctors say. Yesterday I thought everything was alright, but today, after googling Kawasaki Disease, I realized that my brother has most of the symptoms described. Also, its been a while (around 2-3 weeks or so) since hes been having this.

What I wanted to know was that, is this Kawasaki Disease, or is it a doppelganger disease thats worrying me so much.

Btw, they have already left the country, so we are trying to get them to see doctors in the other country.
