Ok i am an aussie guy that has been dating a chinese girl for about 8 months and her dad refuses to talk to me about anything but sum times he might mumble a hello to me, is this "normal" in the culture if so why? (and btw we are all in australia)
yes he speaks english and her mum speaks less english and we chat fine and she is friendly to me, and i also speak abit of cantonese.
