My son is adopted from China and the back of his head is extremely flat. As he tells us more about life in China (he was adopted at age 4), he said they had to sleep on their backs at nap time. Is this to make the head flatter? If so, what does that mean in Chinese culture?

It just has nothing to do with culture. It is more like people has not knowledge about that. Most parents in asia let their children sleep the way they want. I have a flat spot on the back of my head as well. What can i do now?
