Is cooking beans worth it when you can open a can of beans? Does it taste that much

better? Difference?
I know not all beans take very long but pinto and black beans take a while
Graybear you didn't tell me how the taste is?
I made fresh pasta and I thought it wasn't that much better than pre-made although it is healthier
