They say "were isolationist" when civil wars like Rawanda happen, but they're "protecting the world from evil" when they want to appropriate the resources of other countries.
Americans think they're very special and entitled by divine or inherited right to rule the world because their version of morality and justice is the only one correct version and it needs to be shoved down the throat of non-believers for their own good. And they say religion is evil! They do these things and then turn around and say "No, that's what the Muslims are doing". The reality is, the Muslims like their culture and won't bend over for the Americans and what you have is effectively a religious war. Muslims vs The Cult of America.
Wouldn't you agree, or am I a loon?

Del Clicker: Haha, maybe you haven't heard but America is almost bankrupt. You have a $12,000,000,000,000 debt being held by some of those countries you look down on. America currently owes it's existence to these countries.

But its not all Americans and i do understand why you are upset.

Americans these days are accepting the fallacy that fairness is moral and just. And i can understand why people around the world see Americans as being disgusting when they hear news about gay citizens thinking its not fair to pay taxes to a state that wount allow them to marry.

American culture has polluted the world with its greed and lust.

But i wouldnt agree in a religous war.
 
americans dont care about anyone unless they stand to gain something. half of africa is in civil war and we hardly hear a word about it. but, well there is oil in iraq and iran and that whole area so that is all anyone cares about, protecting their assets under the guise of freeing people.
its all greed. the american christianities seem to spring around getting want they want and ignoring anything that doesnt suit them.
the "we love all" mentality is crap.

Almost all armed conflict worldwide is Islamic. Whether its the recent Islamic uprisings in China or the never ending Islamic insurgency in the Phillipines or the never ending Islamic terror all over India (to many to name em all), its always the same thing...Muslims trying to shove shariah law down the throats of unbelievers, be they the majority or otherwise.
 
I think you over simplify. Yes the is a national cult, of sorts, but American foreign policy is not something summed up in a few broad strokes.

Every nation does what is in its best interest yet for some reason when the US does it they are bad.

France didnt stay out of the Iraq war because they are morallly opposed to war. They did it to protect their illegal oil contracts, but nobody accused them of putting their own self interests first that agreed with their position on the war.
Their decision was every bit as selfish and self serving and yet its ok for them to put their own nations interests first but not the US?

You people scream and yell at the US if it doesnt get involved in conflicts you think the US should intervene in and then whine and complain and call us imperialists when the US gets involved in conflicts you dont agree with.

European nations (generalizing now) are always taking shots at the US and boasting how much more enlightened and better they are than the US.
Middle Eastern nations bash the US all the time for their terrible morals.

Every nation does it and there is nationalism in pretty much all countries.
