Is a Power Akoustik PCX-5F 5 Farad Car Audio Capacitor a good capiacitor formy

12" alpine typex and pdx 1.1000? My lights dim when the bass hits and im sure it isnt a good thing for my car. Will that capacitor fix the problem and be good quality?
on ebay its only like 65$ so im fine gettin it. it looks good too lol. is it a bad thing to get too strong of one?
 
it will most definately fix it. however, you only need .5 farad per 500 watts. so you are overexaggerating by 4 farads. It wont hurt anything but you could go smaller like a 1.5 farad.

**EDIT: Not at all. you can get that cap and be just fine. it might actually help your car out if you have higher powered headlights and a lower quality alternator. it will make the alternator last longer too and keep the strain off your battery.

MAKE SURE YOU CHARGE THE CAP WITH THE RESISTER SUPPLIED IN THE PACKAGE OR YOU CAN BBLOW THE CAP. keep a fire extinguisher near by just in case. good luck hope it sounds good.
