Absolutely. When you consider the value you get for the price you pay, you are getting a much better deal with a Harley. Go to NADA website or Kelley Blue Book and look up used values for the last few years and you will see that H-D keeps their value much better than any other motor vehicle - cars, trucks, motorcycles included. Another thing you can't figure into the price is the strength of the dealer network and that you become a part of a family when you buy a H-D. No matter where you go, there is a H-D dealership close. You have friends where ever you go. Harley owners always look out for each other - if you break down, there will be H-D's pulling over to make sure you get the help you need. Then there is the Harley Owners Group (HOG) that is the largest factory sponsored owners group in the world. Earlier in my riding career, I rode with a few groups and I was riding Kawasaki's and Hondas. If someone wasn't able to keep up with the group, they were simply left behind. I have never seen that with my Harley rider groups. There is a sense of pride that comes with Harley ownership that is beyond any price. When you are rumbling through town or out on the open road, people look at you go by. There are Harley haters and I am sure you will hear from them, but it all comes down to this: they are squawking because they are JEALOUS!
