is 100 rms loud ?? #2?

hi i want to buy 2 kicker subs 10 inch for 50 bucks ?? is that a good deal ??? he said he ran 100rms to them ?? is that loud ..does it pound hard ??please help...they are the black and yellow ones..with the X

100watts isn't very loud for subs I have 100watts going to my door speakers 6.5" kicker SSMB6 and Its not that noticable compared to my subs in the trunk. I'd say look for a 600w monoblock amp and then you'll hear them pretty good. They are 4 ohm so when you look on specs on amps look at the 4ohm watts produced. They can be wired down 1 ohm because they have dual voice coils. heres a wiring diagram for it.

So the person wasn't powering them enough. you should use a amp that is a monoblock and has 300 watts to 400 watts so your sub can get plenty of juice and it will hit as much as the sub could
