Tony/Pepper (Iron Man) #1: "Proof Tony Stark has a heart"

If you loved Iron Man go see The Hulk which comes out Friday, I just saw it tonight and it was awesome. There's a connection between this movie and the hulk...

[sp]Tony Stark makes a cameo at the end where he and general ross have a conversation about both of their problems and Stark says not to worry he's got the solution. He knows people and is assembling a team together. General Ross looks questionably at him and Stark just looks back with this grin. So I wouldn't be suprised if we see an Avengers movie soon[/sp]

Same here, I really think they've set the bar for future superhero/comic book movies with this film. Everything about it just seemed flawless.

Thought this was a very good movie.

What was the original Stark company logo? Did they mean to play off Lockheed Martin logo?

ACDC in the beginning, good touch. Loved it even from the very few first seconds!

Blondie, to answer your question about the scene after the credits:

[sp]They made reference to Nick Fury. He is another character from Marvel comics. He's kinda like 007 in charge of an elite army unit. A creation of SHIELD, which is an agency mentioned in this movie. I was surprised though that they used Sam Jackson. Nick fury is not African American [/sp] :)

Can't wait for thor and the Avengers and all that to come out :wiggle:

I seriously loved this movie.

I went in expecting to be disappointed (because I was disappointed with most other Superhero movies that came out recently) but I truly LOVED it!

^ Yeah.

Damn. I wonder who Terrence's agent is then. That's some pretty impressive negotiating skill on his part.

I thought it was good, but I thought it was a bit overrated. The acting was great, comedy was good. But everyone else made it seem like REALLY GOOD, so I guess they put my expectations high.

Aaw! That's really sad, especially considering how excited Terrence was about taking on a bigger role. But I do like Don. So now I'm conflicted, pointlessly enough, I don't really know how I feel about that! I guess I'll just have to wait and see when the movie's out.

Ooh, this is a difficult question. I think I'd pick TDK, though. I mean, Iron Man was my favourite comic-book adaptation this year and when I first saw it, I thought everything about it was flawless and I LOVED it, but The Dark Knight affected me more than I thought possible. It was even more perfect than IM, if that makes sense. The acting, the storyline, the characters, plus the sense of realism. It was just something else.

I still love IM, though. And it's FINALLY out on DVD here, yay!

I made a Tony/Pepper thread at the Couples board if anyone's interested: http://www.fanforum.com/f88/tony-pepper-iron-man-1-proof-tony-stark-has-heart-62836863/

^^ Wow, I had no idea about that! I can't believe he was paid more than the actual star, that's insane. I suppose if the director and the crew weren't completely happy with his performance on the first movie either, then it makes sense to replace him for the new one. Why would they go with someone they felt was mediocre for a second time. y'know?
