Iron Man

To start this off; I enjoyed Iron Man. It truly deserved its praise and is among the few great MARVEL Comic Movie Adaptions (though opinions may vary on that subject). Robert Downey Jr. did a excellent job as Tony Stark, better than I actually expected, everyone fit their respective roles quiet nicely. The only gripes I have against the film is that the action sequences were far too short, but otherwise, it was a awesome movie.

I am not happy about that bit of news. Not at all. No offense to Cheadle (who is a brilliant actor), but I liked Howard as Rhodey. Now I'll experience the exact same void I felt when I was watching the Mummy III and The Dark Knight. :(

Congrats on getting the DVD!

I agree with everything, Iron Man was superior.. I'd choose TDK, but that was a sequel. Iron Man 2 will probably kick butt too.

I'm so excited for Iron Man and about Mr. Favreau returning.I don't know anything about Iron Man villains, but I hope they find a cool one.

RDJ in a Sherlock Holmes movie? I'm so there. :D

Yes...there's a maybe 30 second clip at the end of the credits (which by the way were the loooooongest credits ever, seriously).

ahh my secret link isn't working....

GAH! I didn't realize that Sam Rockwell was in this! That just makes me even more excited. He's one of my favorite actors! :D

I thought this film was okay. I really didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. TDK was much better IMO. To me there is no comparison.

I'm really shocked that Marvel aren't bringing back Jon Favreau for the sequels, and actually quite annoyed. I thought he did a great job with the first one, and I would've thought that, considering how well the first movie did, and how much money it brought in for the production company, they'd be a bit more open to upping his fee and bringing him back.

I agree. The humor especially was great. It wasn't childish or too watered down.

Hehe, yeah, this happens a lot. I know I had my hopes up to the sky with Spider Man 2 and it took me a bit for it to sink in.

2012 Here we goo!!!!!!!!!

Im not able to watch Hulk :( cus here is only in spanish, and i hate to watch movies/tv in spanish so ill wait till the dvd...

posible spoiler... comic stuff that may happen on the movie:

[sp]That's because Pepper is not Tony's Lois Lane nor his Mary Jane, see Pepper has a crush on Iron Man (without knowing that its her boss itsself) BUT Happy *gags* is Pepper's "true love" and i was like "YAY" No freaking Happy on the movie until i noticed his cameo :( So i think Iron Man 2 will be full of angst regarding this triangle... you know Tony was a little too late this time.[/sp]

Iron Man. Hands down. Better acting. Better story. Better everything.

The real question here is: Iron Man, or The Dark Knight?

I LOVED THIS MOVIE! no jokes! I wasn't that thrilled, considering I hadn't really been hooked by the trailers, but wow! great movie!

I hope the sequel is just a good. Although I'm worried the studio may take it in a different (and more often weaker) direction.

I've been waiting to watch this movie for AGES, but I finally got a chance to go watch it on Friday...needless to say, it lived up to all my expectations. Absolutely. Fracking. BRILLIANT!!! Comic book movies just get better and better, and I think Iron Man has set the bar.

RDJ was amazing, seriously (and yeah, I kinda developed a crush on him too ) - he just played all of Stark's layers so well. The rest of the cast was great too. And the effects were awesome. Great storyline, great characters, just great everything!

I totally fangirled at the extra bit after the credits. I can't wait for the sequel! :yay:
