And, if I wanted play games I'd fire up my 360 or PS3 and own the computer..
If I wanted to make a phone call, I'll wait till I get home and use my landline!
See how ridiculous your analogy sounds ?
Who compared playing games on the iphone to PC ?
The iPhone is about an *all in one* device with convenience! It's not replacing your computer, but it's getting there!
Having owned, and still do, BBs.. I'll tell you [OP] to pick the iPhone!
Email - iPhone handles it rather well!! @ 16, you don't really care about MS Exchange email ! And, even if you did, the iPhone does exchange mail very very efficiently!
Messaging - There is a truckload of free/paid apps that handle AIM, MSN, YIM, G-Talk, etc example - Meebo
Camera - the iPhone 4 has an amazing camera!! Video recording quality is truly amazing!
Web Browsing and Touch Screen experience on the iPhone is second to NONE! No Nokia, Google, RIM, Samsung, LG, Palm, SE etc has matched/surpassed this *fluid* touch screen experience yet!
Also, the Antenna issue on the iP4 is quite exaggerated. It does exist, and is a problem when it happens [ usually in low RF areas ], but it's nowhere as widespread as you've heard/read.
The BB, while a great phone and messaging device, is just very BLAH! The web browser on my 8900 makes me wanna smash the damn phone!
At 16, you'll get bored with the BB pretty darn quick but the iP4 will keep you intrigued and excited for a while! Eventually, they all get boring
Right now, and in the foreseeable future, applications will spearhead the mobile market and it's devices. Apart from Android, no one is even remotely close to Apple's App store and it ain't about *fart apps* anymore!
So, it should be the iPhone 4 over the BB, hands down!
