Its not matter just use IMSI or your carrier...it will work even i had the same problem i was trying yo add KI value. but it was not working but when i entered the correct carrier IMSI my phone activated in 5 sec.....

normal sim is to read only and we need a blank sim to write data so we have to buy it

i forgot to mention the iphone is from UK O2 sim card but its a week 42 model i.e, MC model with bootloader 6.4 and Baseband 05.12.01
