Well, for the past while every things actually been going great! Or as great as it could, but recently my right leg has been starting to give me hell during our practices for football. It isn't much at first, but as I start getting into practice, usually twenty to thirty minutes in when we start Position Warm-ups. (I go with the lineman and we just go through the motions of hitting each other properly and safely, and making sure we rap up our arms and straighten our backs out right.) Well, for the past week the inside of my lower right leg, just off of the shin, has been feeling like a damn nail was in my leg. I could just shake it off and keep going but it's been getting worse.
Before you comment, if your not a huge football buff, a linemen's legs are one of his most important features. You can be 270 pounds of muscle, and I will still kick your ass all day on the line if I use perfect technique with leg placement and steps. Proven fact by ANY coach in America you ask who is worth his weight.
Well anyways, this is where the question comes in. As you all probably know I am young and inexperienced in life, so I ask you. If in, or ever where in my position, what would you do? The pain is getting worse and I am clueless to what it is. Some of my teammates have said I have been giving a small limp between drills, but I guess the coaches don't notice (or care.) I can't see the team physician until a month and a half down the road to do them not actually being here, and right now I do not have the insurance to cover a bogus trip to the hospital so I'm not really keen on that approach straight up, but I may half to I guess. Thanks for your time.
