Heading into my mid 30s not having children is starting to effect my life, even though I don't feel ready to have children I've started to be excluded from many options in society. I know at least 2 females my age that are already grandparents. Am I just jealous that I live in a society that rewards teen pregnancy and excludes women that don't have children? How do I start dealing with people that will literately shut you out of conversations when you say you have no children. What's wrong with not having children?

There is nothing wrong with not having them, but just a word of advice, if you DO want them eventually you should start thinking about it in the next couple of years, due to declining fertility, which ends by the mid 40's.
Maybe you could join clubs? What about hiking? crafts? Sports? travel?
I'm sure you'll meet people who don't have children too.
In some countries like Germany it's quite common not to have them. Which country do you live in?

When people find out that I am a 49 year old man without children they do not exactly see me as one of life's big successes. So I definitely know your pain. You can imagine what they say about me!!!

If you dont have kids, ppl look at you and assume
a) you have a medical problem
b) no one wanted to have a baby with you
c) you are a selfish b@stard
